Gears are important basic components used to transmit power or motion in various mechanical products. If their quality is affected, it will not only affect the normal operation of gears, but also lead to the inability of mechanical products to operate normally. 1. The breakage of gear teeth is mostly caused by overload and insufficient design strength of gear teeth, or perhaps foreign objects entering the gearbox of new energy vehicles causing gear breakage. Foreign objects entering the gearbox are mostly caused by human factors.


2. The primary reason for gear pitting and tooth surface wear is due to poor smoothness of the tooth surface, which may cause pitting or wear on the tooth surface. When the oil quality is outstanding, a smooth boundary will be formed between the tooth surfaces. In the case of boundary friction, there will be a thin film on the friction interface with properties different from the medium. When the oil quality is poor, it cannot form a smooth boundary condition. There are many metal bonding points on the conflict surface, resulting in a high conflict coefficient and increased wear, leading to the failure of gears in new energy vehicles.


3. The deformation of gear tooth surface mainly occurs in the linkage gear of the belt conveyor, and there are two main reasons: firstly, the gears of new energy vehicles bear a large load, and when the slope of the belt is large, serious tooth surface deformation often occurs; The second reason is that the hardness of the tooth surface is relatively low during manufacturing.
